S recent University of Pittsburgh Graduate Cameo Rowe Jr. first book, "Defenders of the Kingdom I: The Mystic art world tournament, is being released online booksellers in autumn 2008.

Cameo Rowe graduated in April 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and English Writing. During his five years at Pitt, he was an editor and later co writer - in-Chief of BlackLine Literary Magazine and President of Publications of the National School of Engineers Society Chapter Black, from The Torch newsletter.

Rowe work on "Defenders of the Realm" started before coming to Pitt. Developed history as a retirement gift for a Professor of English at secondary school. The story follows the adventures of Aileron and his friends in the world of Gaia. Spoiler is a young mystic with extraordinary abilities who is estranged from his family at a young age and raised in the desert. When he turns 16, enters into an ongoing war between the Kindred, protectors of goodness, and the occult, a sect of dark mysticism.
