Is there a free Web site to learn the basic terminology of military combat?

I am a writer of science fiction and fantasy and sometimes is necessary to refer to a battle or in battle scenes. The problem is that militarily only know I hear in other fiction. I need to know the type of commands you can give, when commanding troops. As "out flank them." Also the type of things that could be discussed by a team of officers in a shop, away from the front line. Like "win the high ground." Tactical commands the fleet strategy ... etc etc. I'm not really looking to enlist in the army just need to sound good and I'm sure no misuse of terms. If I had to spend money for a book would do so only if you've read and I could say it's worth.
