Shredded lettuce shortening 3 / 4 pound of grated cheddar cheese 3 tomatoes, cut in SM. pieces in taco sauce bottle lightly greased heat a large skillet. Add ground beef and onion. Cook until browned ground beef. Drain fat and add the chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper to meat mixture and mix well. Mixture beans and their liquid. Cover and cook the mixture at the point of simmering for about 30 minutes. Heat shortening in skillet and fry the tortillas lightly on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper and stack. Serve with taco sauce in a bowl file. Yield: 4 persons allowing 3 boats per serving.
