What are some good ideas or websites to use for activities to go along with children's books?
I am taking a literature class child and this semester we have to read 75 books and a business plan to go along with each book. Does anyone have an idea that has been used for a particular book or know Web sites that offer the help I need? (age range would be from Pre-K to grade 5)
I took children's literature is my second year of college and enjoyed the class very much! You must have a lot of fun and be introduced to a variety of children's literature. There are few reference books you may want to master look at to get ideas for activities that go along with books for children. Reference books are called: CAMILLAS History by Shirley C. Raines and Robert J. Canady. There have written several editions of this reference book with each edition offers a new range of children's literature, covering early childhood and primary grades. I found with a link to Barnes and Noble you can check out. If you type in history strechers search engine at Barnes and noble.com you must find the other editions of the reference work, well! http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780876591574&itm=32&pers=n I have examined the books a tutor who worked with them and I loved it! I am asking all books for Christmas to add to my reference collection Class! Good luck and fun in class!
