I just finished reading the book, and I see the movie, the final was a bit surprising.
Why? This is how the finished book. I read "The Stand" last summer, and reminded me what I thought was the best book by Stephen King! I had read all of Mr. King in the '70s when she began writing, and I was surprised by the extent and depth of "The Stand". When editing extended its "author" was published in '91, I got in the library, and thought it was as good as the original … little more than a good thing.
